Concept of Vikshit Bharat is like Lord Ram's Ram Rajya, says Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis

Fadnavis said that the day of the consecration ceremony would remove another symbol of slavery and install Ram Lalla at his birthplace.

Mumbai: Head of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya next year on January 22, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that the concept of "Vikshit Bharat" is like Lord Ram's Ram Rajya.

Speaking at an event, Fadvanis said, "The concept of 'Vikshit Bharat' is like Lord Ram's Ram Rajya, in which the last person will be equal to the king and there will be no difference".

He added that on the day of the consecration ceremony would remove another symbol of slavery and install Ram Lalla at his birthplace.

This development comes after Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on the inauguration of the temple said, "It is a matter of self-esteem for the country. We always seek blessings from Lord Ram. It is a matter of pride for the people that a temple for Lord Ram will be integrated."

He added, "Today, the country is marching ahead with development under the guidance of Lord Ram."

The Ram Mandir ceremony is scheduled for January 22 and is expected to witness the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla. Hundreds of devotees across the country including government ministers such as PM Narendra Modi are expected to be present.

The trust has invited 4,000 sadhus for all sects of the ceremony.
