Concrete Mixer Truck Carrying 8,000 Liters of Illicit Liquor Intercepted in Indore, One Held
A concrete mixer truck carrying 8,000 liters of illicit liquor was intercepted in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, police said on Saturday.

Indore: A concrete mixer truck carrying 8,000 liters of illicit liquor was intercepted in Mhya Presh ’s Indore, police said on Saturday.
According to officials, illicit liquor recovered was worth around Rs 1.75 crore.

Police said that a tip-off was received from an informer that a truck loed with illicit liquor was about to pass through Indore district.
Illicit Liquor Loed In Ambala, Was Going To Maharashtra
"Sanwer police received information from an informer about a concrete mixer truck passing through area that might be transporting liquor. Acting on tip-off, police stopped truck and questioned driver, who appeared evasive. Subsequently, truck was searched, and a substantial quantity of liquor, totaling approximately 8,000 liters and valued at around Rs 1.75 crore, was discovered," said Hitika Vasal, Superintendent of Police (Rural), Indore.

Truck driver, Kamlesh Jaat has been apprehended in matter.
In preliminary inquiry, driver mitted to loing liquor in Ambala and was en route to Maharashtra, officials said.

According to officials, driver is undergoing furr questioning to determine if he has been involved in similar activities previously. police are also investigating to identify or individuals connected to crime.
A case has been registered and furr investigations are underway, police said.
