Congress legislators wore garlands of onions during Question Hour on second day of ongoing winter session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly here on Tuesday as a mark of protest against high prices of edible bulb.

Wearing onion garlands, Congress MLAs led by Leader of Opposition Mukesh Agnihotri trooped into Well. y held banners and raised slogans against price rise. A few minutes later, y walked out from House.

Congress members raised slogans such as "Bhajpa Ka Dekho Khel, Mehanga Pyaz, Mehanga Tel," "Ye Mehangi Kaha Se Aayi, Bhajpa Laayi-Bhajpa Layi" to target BJP government over price hike issue.

Speaker Rajiv Bindal warned Congress legislators t to fling jibe, carry banners and wear garlands in Assembly. He told m ir action was against set rules.

However, Congress MLAs kept on raising slogans as proceedings of Question Hour continued.
