Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday accused Congress and its allies of raising a storm over citizenship law and asserted that opposition parties were behind unrest and arson in parts of country.

prime minister, addressing an election rally in Dumka, lashed out at opposition alliance in Jharkhand saying Congress does t have any roadmap for developing country.

"Congress and its allies are stoking fire over citizenship Act but people of rast have rejected violence. Actions of Congress prove that all decisions taken in Parliament are correct," he said.

Modi claimed that leaders of opposition parties have only built palaces for mselves without being concerned about problems faced by people.

Listing achievements of BJP-led governments at Centre and state, he said, "I have come here to give an account of development work done by our party in state."
