New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a scathing critique of the Congress party during his recent campaign rallies in Haryana , comparing its current state to the "dilapidated" Babri structure. Speaking at events in Narwana, Rai, and Assandh, he urged voters to reject caste politics and support the BJP for development.

Adityanath likened the Congress to the once-derelict Babri mosque, stating, "Today, the structure of the Congress has become dilapidated like the Babri structure in Ayodhya." He referenced the historical slogan calling for the mosque's demolition, framing his argument around a narrative of progress and change. "The structure of slavery was demolished, paving the way for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya," he asserted.

He also condemned dynastic politics, targeting both the Congress and the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) for prioritizing family interests over public service. Adityanath criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), highlighting BSP's alliance with INLD in the upcoming elections.

Addressing national security issues, Adityanath accused the Congress of hindering key projects, such as the Nankana Sahib corridor, and criticized its silence on atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh . He linked the party's actions to vote-bank politics, specifically referencing its handling of Article 370 and the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

The Chief Minister further alleged that the Congress had failed to honor national figures by naming airports after them, opting instead for family members. He emphasized the progress made in Uttar Pradesh under the BJP 's leadership since 2017, citing improved law and order and economic development.

Haryana prepares for elections on October 5, with results set to be announced on October 8.
