BJP's Haryana Minister Anil Vij, while taking a dig at  Congress party, said that opposition party in state is divided into groups. His comment came weeks after Congress' former Haryana unit chief Dr Ashok Tanwar's statement about how party is w giving tickets to people who have just recently joined party. Vij, while speaking about Tanwar’s statement on Wednesday, said, “Despite making efforts, all se groups cant be merged into one.” Tanwar, in his statement, h also said that people who have been working hard for party for years are w being igred.

'New people are getting tickets'

Tanwar’s statement h come in an dress to Congress workers protesting outside residence of party president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi. He h said, "I have worked hard for years. people who joined party 15 days ago are being given tickets by party."

He h gone ahe and alleged that ticket for Sohna assembly seat in Gurugram was "sold for Rs 5 crore." He h also said that leership in state has w been destroyed. He h ded, "We have remained dedicated to party. Why do you have to give tickets to those who recently joined party, but were critical of party earlier."

BJP's offer to Tanwar

Tanwar, while speaking during protest, also claimed that he was approached to join BJP six times in last three months, but that he turned down offer as he is "t hungry of power." He said, "I h personal issues with Randeep Singh Surjewala but I set aside all those differences for party's sake.”

On a related te, Haryana is all set to go to polls on October 21, sharing day with Maharashtra polls. results for both states will be declared on October 24.
