Congress wants a "grand temple" to be built in Ayodhya, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot said on Friday, days after Supreme Court cleared way for construction of shrine in Hindu holy town. He also said court's decision was acceptable to all and people should w stop doing politics on issue.

Congress seeks 'grand temple' in Ayodhya
In its verdict anunced on vember 9, Supreme Court backed construction of a Ram temple by a trust at disputed site in Ayodhya, and ruled that an alternative five-acre plot be allotted for building a mosque in town.
"Everyone has welcomed decision and Congress party wants a grand temple be built re (Ayodhya)," Pilot told reporters in Dausa district.

"We have to happily respect and maintain that decision. w we have to stop doing politics on this issue; world is moving forward," he said.

People who h been doing politics over case for past 30 years understand w that one will benefit politically by raising issue again and again, he ded, without naming anyone. Speaking about Congress' performance in recent civic body polls in Rajasthan and assembly elections in some states, Pilot said re is a change in country's atmosphere. "(Congress') performance in recent civic body elections reflects that organisation and workers have worked hard and people have liked government's work. State assembly results in Haryana and alliance government taking shape in Maharashtra reflect that atmosphere in country is changing," he said.
" way we have worked in Rajasthan, I am happy to say that Congress organisation worked as hard and with as much preparedness as it did when it was in opposition," deputy chief minister said.
