New Delhi: Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is currently lodged in New Delhi’s Tihar jail on charges of extortion, recently extended an offer to filmmaker Karan Johar proposing to take a 50-70 percent stake in latter’s Dharma Productions.
Chandrasekhar h sent a ‘Letter of Intent’ from Tihar Jail, one of Asia’s largest prisons.

In letter, Chandrasekhar conveyed his desire to acquire a controlling stake in Dharma Productions, highlighting that offer was 'n-negotiable.' He mentioned that if terms were accepted, deal could be completed within 48 hours.
“This is a letter of intent regarding acquiring a major portion of stake in your company, Dharma Productions,” re letter, which was later released by Sukesh’s PR team.

letter went on to state that Sukesh's financial visor h indicated that Dharma Productions was looking for investment, and Sukesh's company, LS Holdings, aimed to assist with company's growth.
Recognizing difficulties stemming from his controversial reputation, Sukesh ackwledged that proposal might appear 'unusual,' but he stressed that his intentions were sincere.

'Jacqueline Love of My Life'
Sukesh also conveyed his miration for Karan Johar, calling him a 'wonderful human' and ting respect that Jacqueline Fernandez, whom he referred to as “love of his life,” holds for him.
“For me, movies are t just a business, but a passion and an emotion, as I am personally a movie buff. I am sure this offer may seem unusual, coming from walls of Asia’s largest prison, but Karan, best and wonderful things happen from extraordinary situations, places, and persons,” letter re.

ar Poonawalla Acquires 50% Stake In Dharma Productions
ar Poonawalla's Serene Production has signed an agreement to invest Rs 1,000 crore in Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Dharmatic Entertainment. As part of this deal, Serene Production has acquired a 50 per cent stake in both entities for amount invested.
