Ministry of Personnel asks employees to refrain from spreading rumours on COVID-19
Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on Monday asked its employees to refrain from spreading any rumours around the novel Coronavirus.

Amidst Coronavirus outbreak in country, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on Monday asked employees to refrain from spreing any rumours regarding vel disease. total number of positive cases in India has w reached 114, as per figures reported by Union Health Ministry.

"A rumour has been circulating in Department that a room partner of one Vikas Meena, an ASO posted in AIS Division was infected with Coronavirus. Consequently, it might have spre virus furr. This is informed that said room partner of Vikash Meena went to RML hospital for a checkup where it was found that he's diagsed with typhoid," re an official statement.
"Furr, it has been informed that Vikas Meena himself is hale and hearty with health problem," it ded.

ministry also stressed importance of taking precautions at this point in time. It stated that spreing of false rumours or misinformation could prove to be detrimental and create unnecessary panic among employees.

"All officers and staff in Department are requested that while taking all precautions to contain spre of Coronavirus, y should refrain from spreing any rumour about virus," ministry stated.
