" survey is aimed at collecting information from metro commuters on ir ability or possibility to schedule ir travel in off-peak hours so as to avoid rush during morning and evening peak hours," DMRC said in a statement.
questions of survey are designed to cover basic aspects of metro travel, such as timings of travel, line utilisation, flexibility of planning travel in n-peak hours, and wher commuters have an option to work from home, it said.

inputs provided in this survey would help Delhi Metro to understand commuters' requirements better and to furr improve services, officials said.
After Delhi Metro fully resumed its services on September 12, with new rms and social distancing in place due to ongoing pandemic, occupancy on metro has been limited, y said.

"However, it has been observed that certain sections of DMRC network have witnessed 100 per cent occupancy during morning and evening peak hours.
"In view of this, commuters are requested to 'break peak' by staggering travel timings to decongest peak hours and avail ditional capacity available during off-peak hours for ir own convenience and safety amidst COVID-19 pandemic," statement said.
