Centre says some Airlines didn't heed no-bookings advisory; assures them of enough time

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri directed attention of airline services and citizens to his tweets clearly stating the government decision on air travel

As some airliners and booking services h initially allegedly started flight bookings despite instruction from central government on resumption of services, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has directed attention of airline services as well as citizens to his tweets clearly stating government's stand with regards to air travel.

He tweeted screenshots of his earlier tweets which indicated that decision to lift air travel ban "remains to be taken".

In following tweet, he opined that some airlines have overlooked government visory by resuming flight bookings and collecting money from flyers, ding that government has issued a directive to m to stop booking process and also informed m that y will be given prior tice to commence bookings.

In concluding tweet, Aviation Minister reminded that lockdown is in place in battle against COVID-19 and travel ban will be lifted when spre of dely pandemic is controlled and "poses danger to country and people".
