Piyush Goyal issues directives to constitute Rly Rapid Response Team to fight COVID-19
The Rapid Response Team would comprise six executive directors from the Railway Board to coordinate COVID-19 preparedness activities across all the zones

Amid surge in Coronavirus cases across country, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday issued directives to constitute a six-member rapid response team from Railway Board to coordinate efforts of Indian Railways across all zones. decision was taken at meeting over railways' preparedness to contain spread of COVID-19 in India.

WHO praises India's effort to contain virus
World Health Organisation (WHO) on Tuesday praised Indian government's commitment to combat vel coronavirus -- a pandemic which has infected more than 168,000 people and killed over 7500 globally.
