After Jammu attack, 2 more drones chased away from Kaluchak military station using gunfire

As per the Defence Wing, the first drone was sighted around 11:45 pm and the second one at 2:40 am, just after midnight over the Kaluchak military station

Just a day after a first-of-its-kind attack on Indian Air Force (IAF) station in Jammu, two more drones were spotted hours apart over Kaluchak military station in wee hours on Monday. A high alert was sounded as soon as two drones were spotted and were fired upon immediately by Quick Reactio Teams. drones hovering in Jammu air were thwarted and were forced to fly back without causing any dam. 

As per Defence Wing, first drone was sighted around 11:45 pm and second one at 2:40 am, just after midnight. Quick Reaction Teams at Kaluchak military station in Jammu's Samba district had opened fire on drones on sighting m but could t bring m down. A defence official has affirmed that security forces have been placed on high alert and search operations are in progress.

Drone blasts at IAF Jammu station

drone sightings came shortly after attack on IAF's Jammu airbase on Sunday morning. Multiple blasts had occurred in premises of technical area of Jammu airbase, which were later confirmed to be drone attacks. A first of its kind, attack led to two IAF personnel sustaining mir injuries. Two blasts were heard within a gap of 5 minutes, first blast is captured in CCTV at 1.37 am while second has been captured at 1.43 am. A team of Jammu and Kashmir police along with or security ncies and forensic experts rushed to incident spot to furr investigate cause of blast. 

Sounding a high alert across security installations and bordering region with Pakistan, a high-level investigation team of IAF was dispatched to Jammu after explosions. possible target of drones is said to be aircraft parked in dispersal area just meters away. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Vice Air Chief Air Marshal HS Arora regarding blasts and Western Air Commander Air Marshal VR Chaudhary and Air Marshal Vikram Singh reached spot to investigate matter.

NIA reported that IED-fitted drone came from across International border and an FIR has been registered under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in incident. IAF stations in Pathankot, Punjab and Awantipur, Srinagar have been put on high alert as sources state that possible target of drones was aircraft parked in dispersal area, ten meters away.
