Allahabad HC fixes July 7 as next hearing on Appointment of govt teachers in Uttar Pradesh
The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Wednesday fixed July 7 as the date to hear a petition seeking cancellation of the selection process for the appointment of 69,000 assistant basic teachers in Uttar Pradesh.

petitioners have also demanded a CBI probe into matter. A bench of Justice Alok Mathur passed order on petition moved by AK Ojha and ar person.

petitioners have contended that a special task force is investigating matter but re is chance of a fair investigation as it is an ncy under state government.
So, probe should be handed over to premier central investigating ncy, y said. It was requested on behalf of state government on Wednesday that Advocate General Raghvendra Singh will argue matter and it should be listed after summer vacations.

bench set July 7 as next date with consent of counsel for petitioners and state government. Earlier, Luckw bench of Allahabad High Court had stayed June 3 single bench order halting selection process.
