Ayodhya verdict: UP admin to keep a strict vigil in 31 districts

Ayodhya: Temp jails have been created by the UP govt in every district while internet services may be banned to check the spread of rumours through social media

Prior to verdict in sensitive Ayodhya case on Saturday, vember 9, security has been beefed up in region and joining areas. ministration is going to keep a strict vigil in 31 districts of Uttar Presh, officials have stated on Saturday. Temporary jails have been created by Uttar Presh government in every district while internet services may be banned to check spre of rumours through social media. Union Home Ministry is in regular correspondence with state government. Furrmore, Union Home Ministry has provided UP government with 4,000 central paramilitary personnel for deployment in UP, a senior official stated.

Special vigil on social media being maintained 

More than 670 people are maintaining a special vigil on social media and if need arises internet services can be stopped to prevent spre of rumours, senior official ded. Security has been tightened in joining areas of Ayodhya and Ayodya itself while temporary prisons have been created in every district of state. 31 districts have been identified by state government as sensitive zones while Section 144 under Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) which prohibits garing of five or more persons, has alrey been imposed across state. Special focus is being given to Ayodha, district where disputed structure is located, and different tiers of security zones have been created re, and each visitor is being scanned.

Ranjan Gogoi's security has been upgred to Z-plus

In light of Ayodhya verdict, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi's security has been upgred to Z-plus. Z-plus security cover is one of highest in country and is provided by one of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), preferably Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Supreme Court is all set to deliver its much-awaited verdict in Ayodhya title suit case on Saturday at 10.30 am. CJI Gogoi is heing five-member Constitution bench that concluded hearing case on October 16. or members of bench are Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and SA Nazeer. According to reports, ir security cover has been upgred as well.
