Bihar govt files affidavit in SC in Sushant death case; accuses Rhea of 'grabbing crores'

The Bihar government on Friday has filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court in the case related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Bihar government on Friday has filed an affidavit before Supreme Court in case related to death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. This affidavit has been filed in response to Rhea Chakraborty's petition seeking transfer of case from Patna to Mumbai after Sushant's far filed an FIR against her on charges of abetment to suicide and ors.  

Bihar government in its affidavit filed by Keshav Mohan, additional standing counsel attacks Mumbai Police for ir behaviour with top Patna cop and for quarantining him. More interestingly, in ps 7 and 8, y accused petitioner Rhea Chakraborty giving overdose of medicines to late actor.

y say she tried to alienate Sushant Singh Rajput and keep him away from his family. affidavit furr mentions that petitioner threatened deceased Sushant Singh Rajput, that he will t get work and she will share his medical reports with media. 

affidavit also mentions that late actor had 17 crores in his Kotak Bank account out of which 15 crores were transferred to ar account.

Bihar government has told  Supreme Court that Rhea Chakraborty and her family members have painted a false picture of Sushant’s mental health after “grabbing” crores of rupees from him. petition says that Rhea Chakrabarty got into a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput with ulterior motives of grabbing late actor's money. It also accuses Rhea of having overdosed Sushant. 

Rhea's delay tactics

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakroborty has sought time to appear before  Enforcement Directorate (ED) till Supreme Court concludes it hearing on her petition. ED is investigating financial angle in Sushant's death case and has named Rhea under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).  ED had asked actor to appear before ncy at its Mumbai office on August 7.

As per sources, in an e-mail sent to ED on Thursday night, Rhea, who was last seen on August 1 when she left her home with family as per her building manr, has said that she should be exempted from appearing before ncy till hearing of her plea in apex court is going on. Supreme Court is hearing Rhea Chakroborty's plea seeking transfer of case filed against her in Patna by Sushant's far KK Singh to Mumbai.

Rhea Chakraborty's CA had been summoned on Wednesday but skipped appearance citing heavy rains in Mumbai. On Friday, Rhea's manr Shruti Modi has also been summoned. Moreover, ncy also interrogated Samuel Miranda, an associate of Rhea Chakraborty for more than 9 hours on August 6.

CBI registers case

CBI on August 6  registered a case in Sushant Singh Rajput's death after Central Government accepted Bihar Government's probe request in matter. CBI case names Rhea Chakraborty and five ors. Sushant's home staff manr Samuel Miranda has also been named in FIR.
