Centre makes clear to states: 'You cannot dilute restrictions in Lockdown 4.0 guidelines'

Centre government on Monday told the States and Union Territories that they cannot dilute restrictions under lockdown 4.0 guidelines imposed by the MHA

As country entered fourth phase of nationwide lockdown to combat Coronavirus spre,  Centre government on Monday told states and Union Territories that y cant dilute restrictions under lockdown 4.0 guidelines imposed by  Ministry of Home Affairs.

"States/Union territories cant dilute restrictions imposed vide aforesaid guidelines issued by MHA. States/UTs based on ir assessment of situation, may prohibit certain or activities in various zones, or impose such restrictions as deemed necessary",  re  statement from Ministry of Home Affairs

Centre furr urged States/UT to ensure compliances of new guidelines, and direct all concerned authorities for ir strict implementation. It also said furr guidelines issued by MHA and consequent orders issued by respective state government/UT ministrations should be widely disseminated to public.
