"Distressed to kw about yet ar killing of BJP karyakarta Dulal Kumar in Balrampur, West Bengal. This continued brutality and violence in land of West Bengal is shameful and inhuman. Mamata Banerjee’s govt has completely failed to maintain law and order in state."

"I express my deepest condolences to bereaved family. I along with millions of BJP karyakartas share grief of Dulal Kumar’s family. May God give his family strength to withstand this irreparable loss. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti."

Twenty-eight-year-old Dulal Kumar was found hanging from an electric tower near his Dabha vill in Purulia, having seemingly gone missing on Saturday night. circumstances of his body being discovered were chillingly similar to how ar BJP worker, an 18-year-old Dalit male named Trilochan Mahato, was found just a few days earlier.

In case of Mahato's death, two messs had been found -- one scribbled on back of his white t-shirt and ar, in a crumpled piece of paper that had been left near his feet.

Roughly translated, horrific mess read, "This is for doing BJP politics from 18. Been trying to kill you since vote. Failed. Today your life ends."

Speaking to Republic TV, BJP national secretary Rahul Sinha had alleged a Trinamool Congress hand behind Dulal Kumar's killing. At that time, Police had claimed that death was a suicide. Both cases were later handed over to state CID as Bengal Police cited that re may be a conspiracy. BJP, as well as family of Trilochan Mahato have demanded a CBI probe.

Trinamool Congress leader Derek O'Brien, meanwhile, said that his party condemned despicable killing and that all angles should be probed. He also asked about roles of Jharkhand border, Bajrang Dal, Maoists and BJP.
