In petition, it was stated that couple got married in July this year, but family members of woman were interfering in ir marital life.
Dismissing petition, court observed, " first petitioner has converted her religion on June 29, 2020 and just after one month, y have solemnised ir marri on July 31, 2020, which clearly reveals to this court that said conversion has taken place only for purpose of marri." court referred to case of or Jahan Begum in which high court in 2014 held that conversion just for purpose of marri was unacceptable.

petition was rejected by Allahab High Court in case of or Jahan Begum praying to provide protection to married couple as girl was a Hindu in case and married after converting to Islam.
In that case, court h asked, "Wher conversion of religion of a Hindu girl at instance of a Muslim boy, without any kwledge of Islam or faith and belief in Islam and merely for purpose of Marri (Nikah) is valid?" court at that time answered question in negative while relying on teachings of Quran.
