Deadline for Khalistan ZF chief Neeta to surrender ends today, J-K property to be attached
A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on August 25 issued a proclamation notice against KZF chief Ranjeet Singh Neeta and asked him to surrender.

The 30 days ultimatum to Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) chief Ranjeet Singh Neeta to surrender ended on Monday, September 25. In view of this, an action against him has been initiated under CrPC for the attachment of his property in Jammu and Kashmir.
A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on August 25 issued a proclamation notice against KZF chief Ranjeet Singh Neeta under CrPC 82 and asked him to surrender.

It has been learnt that Ranjit Neeta is currently operating from Pakistan and is backed by Pakistan Intel Agency ISI. reportedly, he is a wanted in more than a dozen acts of terror for his direct involvement and in various conspiracies.
Proclamation notice against KZF chief
Issuing an ultimatum agaisnt KZF chief Ranjeet Singh Neeta, a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court issued a proclamation notice against him giving a 30-day timeframe to him to surrender. "Ranjeet Singh Neeta, son of Darshan Singh, resident of Jammu, is absconding. He has been directed to appear before the NIA court in Mohali till September 14 or within 30 days from the date of publication of such proclamation," the notice read.

Neeta's name surfaced in various terror and explosive-related activities across the Punjab-Jammu region. In addition to this, the KZF chief's was also allegedly involved in a bomb explosion in the Jhelum Express near Ambala in December 1996 and explosions in two buses in Pathankot in April and June 1997.
He was also involved in the bomb explosion in Shalimar Express in June 1998, explosion in Pooja Express near Pathankot in November 1999, explosion in Sealdah Express in February 2000, in which five persons were killed and four were injured.
