Interlocutors to continue Shaheen Bagh talks on Thursday; protesters remain firm on demand
After the conclusion of their first meeting with the Shaheen Bagh protesters, the SC-appointed interlocutors stated that their talks would continue on Thursday.

Speaking to media after conclusion of ir first meeting with Shaheen Bagh protesters on Wednesday, interlocutors Sanjay Hegde and Shana Ramachandran stated that ir talks would continue on Thursday. Mentioning that it was good to interact with protesters, Ramachandran stressed that y wanted interlocutors to come back again.
She ded that women of Shaheen Bagh h shared ir concerns with m. As per sources, protesters remained firm on t moving an inch from site until Citizenship Amendment Act was repealed.

Shana Ramachandran remarked, "Today, we concluded our first meeting with Shaheen Bagh’s grandmors, sisters, mors, and citizens. We felt very good to meet and listen to m. We first asked m wher we should come back tomorrow as re were many people and talks have just started. Everyone wishes that we should come back tomorrow. So, we will come. y shared ir grief and pain with us."

"We have come just to learn. And we don’t want to say anything more. We will come tomorrow as well and work according to Supreme Court order. Today is just start," Sanjay Hegde opined.

apex court's intervention in Shaheen Bagh protests
SC bench comprising Justice Sanjay Kaul and KM Joseph heard multiple petitions demanding removal of protesters from Shaheen Bagh and clearance of Kalindi Kunj ro on Monday. While one petition has been filed by lawyer and activist Amit Sahni seeking removal of protesters under supervision of a retired judge of Supreme Court or Delhi High Court, BJP leer Nand Kishor Garg filed second petition. court questioned wher a public ro could be blocked in this manner.
At same time, apex court clarified that limited question before it was concerning place at which an indefinite protest of this nature could be held. bench named senior vocates Sanjay Hegde and Shana Ramachandran as interlocutors to mediate with Shaheen Bagh protesters and explore possibility of shifting protest to alternative venues such as Ramlila Maidan and Jantar Mantar. interlocutors have been directed to submit a report on outcome of talks by February 24, next date of hearing.
