Kanyakumari district SP KK Sreenath confirmed that two accused in the Sub-inspector Wilson murder case confessed that they killed the SI in an act of vengeance

Kanyakumari district SP KK Sreenath confirmed that two accused arrested in Sub-inspector Wilson murder case have confessed that y killed SI in an act of vengeance against government and police for arresting ir men earlier and curbing ir terror plans.

"Sub-inspector was killed in an act of vengeance, y have confessed that y committed murder," says district top cop.

investigation happened for more than 20 hours, both Abdul Shameen and Thoufiq have confessed that y killed sub-inspector on 8th of January when he was on his duty at Kerala -Tamil Nadu border check post.

y were absconding for many days after murder, both Tamil Nadu and Kerala police had formed special teams to nab m. Police initially arrested ir partners at Palakad and finally nabbed m at Udupi of Karnataka on January 14. y were brought to Kanyakumari early on Thursday where actual questioning started. Both accused produced at court were sent to judicial remand for 3 days, police have decided to take m under custody during hearing which will happen on January 20.

"We are planning to take m under our custody for furr questioning. We will be questioning m regarding or evidence, ir plans and or partners during interrogation session", said SP of Kanyakumari.

Police sources also claim that y might be booked under UAPA (Unlawful activities prevention act) since it is a case of terror and many ors are also involved in it. Police sources also suspect that se two were trying to recruit members to ISIS as well. National investigation ncy might also take up case soon after enquiry of Tamil Nadu police comes to an end, as this is considered to be a terror plot.
