Sharing details on the Kulgam terror attack, CRPF on Tuesday has released a statement that unknown terrorists had shot 5 labourers and injured one labourer at 8:45 PM in Kashmir's Kulgam in Anantnag district. The CRPF has added that the injured had been taken to the District Hospital in Anantnag. All labourers were reportedly from West Bengal's Murshidabad, as shared by the CRPF. Meanwhile, the CRPF troops of 18 Battalion Army and J&K Police have reached the spot and cordoned the area. The search for the terrorists is underway.

Terrorists kill 5 labourers in Kulgam
Earlier in the day, terrorists killed five non-local labourers and another injured in South Kashmir's Kulgam region, in a sixth attack in the past two weeks. The bodies of the non-Kashmiris have been recovered while the injured is being treated. This is the first incident emerging from Kulgam, as Pakistan backed terror outfits are attempting to disrupt peace in the valley and attempt to batter the economy by attacking apple traders in Kashmir. This attack also occurred amid the visit of European Union MPs in Kashmir.

Other terror attacks in 2 days
In yet another terror attack earlier in the day, unidentified terrorists fired six to seven rounds on CRPF deployment at an examination centre in terror hotbed, Kashmir's Pulwama district. While on Monday, terrorists shot dead a truck driver in Anantnag district. The Kulgam attack has been the fourth attack on non-Kashmiris civilians in two days.

On Monday, terrorists had lobbed a grenade in a busy market area, injuring 19 civilians, as per sources. The attack took place near J&K Bank New Colony Bank, which is a few meters away from Sopore Bus Stand. Incidentally, the attack took place a day before the scheduled visit of a 27-member European delegation to Kashmir. This also comes just days ahead when Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will officially be declared as Union Territories on October 31.
