Madhya Pradesh: 30-Year-Old Man Kills Mother, Hangs Her Body From Tree In Ratlam District

Ratlam: A 30-year-old man bludgeoned his mor to death and hanged her from a tree after she did not serve him dinner in a village in Mhya Presh's Ratlam district, police told PTI on Friday.

incident occurred on Thursday night at Saravan village, about 30 km from district hequarters, an official said.

complainant, Maliya Bheel, victim's husband, alleged that his son Asharam killed his mor, Jivabai (65), late in night, inspector Neelam Chogh of Saravan police station told reporters.

Investigations revealed that accused h an altercation with his mor over serving him dinner, he said.

accused quarrelled with his mor, and far intervened, after which he left. He later returned and beat victim up with sticks and bludgeoned her with bricks while his far was asleep, official said.

accused n hung his mor's body from a neem tree in courtyard to make death appear like a suicide, he said.

woman's body has been sent for post-mortem, and a manhunt has been launched for accused, official said.
