Taking ahead the complaint against American news agency Wall Street Journal (WSJ), the Maharashtra cyber cell on Sunday, transferred it to Delhi police

Taking ahe complaint against American news ncy Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Maharashtra cyber cell on Sunday, transferred complaint to Delhi police. Stating that incident h happened in Delhi, cyber cell has forwarded complaint, informing complainant Legal Rights Observatory- LRO too. activist group h alleged that  WSJ h allegedly 'misreported on Delhi violence and murder of IB official Ankit Sharma'.

WSJ alleges 'Hindu mob killed Ankit Sharma', complaint filed

complaint has accused WSJ of 'defaming particular religion & spreing communal tension'. WSJ h alleged that a Hindu mob chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' h murdered Ankit Sharma. Moreover, WSJ h quoted Ankit's bror Ankur as having said that Ankit was killed by a mob chanting 'Jai Shri Ram', which he has refuted.

He said, "I never gave such a statement to Wall Street Journal. This is a ploy to defame my bror and my family. Wall Street Journal is lying".

report titled “India’s Ruling Party, Government Slammed Over Delhi Violence” claims that 'rioters armed with stones, rods, knives and even sword' h charged into street where Sharma's home was situated, quoting Ankur. WSJ quoted Ankur saying, "y shouted 'Jai Shri Ram' [Glory to Lord Ram]; some even wore helmets'. Moreover, WSJ ded Ankur stating 'y started throwing stones and bricks at residents, who rushed to Ankit to help... Later, his body was found in a ditch."

IB Officer's family alleges murder-link with Tahir Hussain

On Wednesday, family of martyred IB Officer Ankit Sharma alleged that AAP leer Tahir Hussain was behind attack on officer stating that Hussain h housed multiple goons at his place. y also alleged that Hussain is in possession of guns, petrol bombs, and swords and that Sharma was allegedly brutally murdered in Chand Bagh by 'outsider goons' brought allegedly by Hussain. Hussain, who has w been suspended by AAP, has been named in FIR  registered in Sharma's murder case under Section 302 of Indian penal code.
