Mumbai Man Slits Female Friend's Throat, Attempts Suicide After She Stops Talking to Him

Mumbai: A 33-year-old man allegedly attacked his female friend with a knife and slit her throat before trying to take his own life after she stopped speaking to him.

incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Bhandup, an eastern suburb. accused, Dnyandeo Bhange, reportedly slashed woman's throat, leaving her with serious injuries, officials stated on Thursday.

Following attack, Bhange attempted suicide by cutting his own throat with same knife. Both were immediately rushed to hospital and are currently receiving treatment, according to officials.
