Hyderabad: NIA files chargesheet against couple involved in human trafficking case
A supplementary charge sheet was filed on Thursday, by NIA in Special Court, Hyderabad against a couple for their role in trafficking girls from Bangaladesh

A supplementary charge sheet was filed on Thursday, August 20 by National Investigation ncy (NIA) in Special Court, Hyderab against a couple for ir alleged involvement in trafficking of Bangleshi girls and running a prostitution racket in Hyderab and in nearby places, according to NIA statement.
accused have been identified as Mohammed Abdul Salam (47), a resident of Hyderab and his wife Shiuli Khatun (30), a resident of Banglesh.

According to official statement by NIA, both accused have been chargesheeted under different sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC), Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 and Foreigners Act, 1946, "for ir role in trafficking of young Bangleshi girls and illegally crossing Indo-Banglesh border for running a prostitution racket in Hyderab and in nearby places”.

release by ncy furr revealed that case emerged out of an FIR filed at Chatrinaka Police Station, Hyderab on April 21, 2019. FIR was pertaining to rescue of six Bangleshi girls from brol houses run by three main accused Mohd Yousuf Khan, Bithi Begum and Sojib Shaik. On September 17, 2019, case was re-registered at NIA, Hyderab BO after which ncy arrested accused Ruhul Amin Dhali and filed first charge-sheet against Mohd Yousuf Khan, Bithi Begum, Sojib Shaik, and Ruhul Amin Dhali on March 10, 2020.

Details about NIA investigation
investigation carried out NIA revealed that Mohd Abdul Salam and Shiuli Khatun along with accused Mohd Yousuf Khan, Bithi Begum, Sojib Shaik, Ruhul Amin Dhali and ors, were trafficking poor and young Bangleshi girls into India through a well-organized network of nts in both countries. accused gave false inducements to girls of lucrative jobs, and subsequently forcing m into prostitution, NIA statement said.
Three more girls rescued
Recently, NIA has rescued three more girls on May 23, 2020, from rented house of Mohammed Abdul Salam and Shiuli Khatun in Hayathnagar, Hyderab. During raid, many incriminating articles and documents were seized from house including multiple identity documents of trafficked girls, mobile phones, contraceptive pills, and a large number of diaries and registers containing names and contact numbers of various brol nts to whom trafficked girls were sent for sexual exploitation on a commission basis. Furr investigation is underway in case.
