Odisha: Man kills wife over suspicion of extra-marital affair, surrenders with chopped head
The accused created panic at Banigochha police station by entering with severed head of his wife, Dharitri, alleging her involvement in an extra-marital affair.

Bhubaneswar: Sensation prevailed in Bidapaju village, Nayagarh district of Odisha on Saturday when a 35-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and surrendered at the police station with her severed head.
Identified as Arjun Bagha, the accused committed the crime suspecting that his wife was involved in an extra-marital affair, officials said.
Bagha created panic at Banigochha police station by entering with the severed head of his 30-year-old wife, Dharitri, alleging her involvement in an extra-marital affair.
Bagha, a resident of Bidapaju village, used a sharp weapon to kill his wife before decapitating her. The police have detained Bagha, and an investigation is underway.
"The headless torso has also been recovered. An investigation has been started," said Laxman Dandasena, the inspector-in-charge of the Banigochha police station.
