Pakistan Rangers who guard International Border with India, crossed all limits when it targeted local residents in a vill in Arnia who were constructing a ro that les to local cremation ground.

"We don't have a ro towards cremation ground and whenever it rained, it created huge problems for us, as we were unable to take de bodies of people who die for cremation, so some local residents donated ir land and we started construction work", Raghubir Singh former Sarpanch of vill said.

He said that as local residents pooled ir resources to start construction work, Pakistan objected by first raising a red flag on ir forward bunker and after that resorting to direct firing on local residents who were engd in construction work.

" construction work is going on in our own fields which is several hundred meters inside Indian territory, but when we began construction, Pakistan rangers first warned us by raising a red flag on ir forward bunker, but we thought that things were settled when local BSF officers told m that work was for cremation ground," ar local resident said.
He said that as soon as y started construction work, Pakistan rangers resorted to firing directly towards m and y h a narrow escape.

"As we started excavation of soil, Pakistan rangers resorted to direct firing on us, we h a narrow escape as we took shelter in a nearby bunker," he said.

local residents say that Pakistan deliberately targets m and whenever y go to ir fields, Pakistan fires at m, but this time Pakistan rangers crossed all limits by disrupting peaceful cremation of deceased.
"Several people have eir been killed or injured while working in ir fields, which is next to international border, whenever re is cross border firing Pakistan deliberately targets farmers who are working in ir fields", Prem Kumar a local farmer said.
