In a massive strike against Pakistan, the Indian Army carried out a large and effective anti-terror operation targeting 7 terror camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Monday, according to top sources. As per inputs, over 50 terrorists have been killed in the military strike, leaving Pakistan in disarray. The strike was reportedly carried out after 7 Pakistani SSG commandos were trying to infiltrate in the Tangdhar sector to carry out a Border Action Team (BAT) strike but were neutralised, with their bodies lying unclaimed approximately 300 m inside the Pakistan side of the LoC.

Terror launch pads destroyed
Earlier on October 20, India launched a counterattack on terror camps inside Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) opposite the Tangdhar sector. Sources report that the Indian Army had used artillery guns to target the terrorist camps which have allegedly been trying to push terrorists into Indian territory. This attack was launched after Pakistan violated the ceasefire in the Tangdhar sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, earlier in the day. Sources had reported that four launch pads in Neelam Valley (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) had been targeted/destroyed by the Indian Army. Sources report that 6-10 Pakistan Army soldiers have been killed and several were injured.

Republic TV had also accessed an exclusive video of the Indian Army destroying live 120mm artillery shells fired by Pakistan, which has been continuously violating the Line of Control in the Mendhar sector of the Poonch district. The video shows soldiers risking their own lives and taking the unexploded shells to a safe distance and defusing them. This move was done to foil Pakistan's plan to target civilians.
Pakistan Army targets school children across LoC
The Indian army's actions comes at a time when Pakistan had been continuously resorting to unprovoked ceasefire violations across the LoC in the Poonch sector's Balakote, targeting civilian areas. This move has left children stranded within the premises of their schools. The mortar shelling from across the border started in the Balakote area of Mendhar sector around 1.20 pm on Tuesday, prompting strong retaliation by the Indian Army, the officials said. They said two civilians were injured in the Pakistani shelling and are being evacuated to the hospital.
