After an audio clip between two political leaders went viral, the Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group wing arrested a person named Sanjay Jain.

After an audiotape between two political leers went viral on Thursday, Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group wing arrested a person named Sanjay Jain. As per sources, a Congress MLA was contacted with help of Jain for purpose of horse-tring. A tice issued by state police's SOG to Deputy CM Sachin Pilot on July 10 is believed to be one of main flashpoints that sparked present political crisis in Rajasthan.
In FIR registered on July 10 under IPC sections 124-A (sedition) and 120-B (conspiracy), two BJP members were arrested for trying to lure Congress MLAs. After intercepting some conversations, it ted that attempts were being me to topple government before Rajya Sabha polls. As per conversations, Pilot was reportedly in touch with BJP camp to become CM.

Political crisis in Rajasthan
On July 13, Congress Legislative Party in Rajasthan passed a resolution unanimously supporting state government led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. MLAs also condemned all acts intended to weaken government. y also called for strict disciplinary action to be taken against any Congress MLA or office-bearer of party directly or indirectly involved in anti-party activities. However, Sachin Pilot and his loyalists stayed away from this meeting.

Moreover, y rejected Congress party's overtures by refusing to attend second CLP meeting convened on Tuesday. A day earlier, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala asked Sachin Pilot and or dissident MLAs to prove ir loyalty to party by returning to Jaipur. Taking a dig at Pilot, Surjewala urged MLAs to talk on party forums inste of communicating through media.
After Pilot and 18 or MLAs were issued disqualification tices, y challenged it in Rajasthan High Court. disqualification tice has been challenged on grounds that Assembly is t in session and that MLAs h t indulged in anti-party activities. Appearing for Assembly Speaker, Congress RS MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi opposed plea, citing that final decision on disqualification petitions has t been taken. matter was referred to a division bench and will be heard at 1 pm on Friday.
