Sushant Singh Rajput death case: CBI registers FIR; Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel named

In a massive development in mysterious death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, CBI has registered a case pertaining to matter. This comes after Central Government accepted Bihar Government's probe request in matter. CBI has registered a case against Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty and five ors. Sushant's home staff manr Samuel Miranda has also been named in FIR. 

On Thursday, Central Bureau of Investigation got in touch with Bihar Police to collect all details from ir investigation in matter. CBI’s elite SIT (Special Investigation Team) will probe Sushant Singh case. According to sources, SIT will be headed by Maj Sashidhar, DIG Gagandeep Ghambir to supervise probe and Anil Yadav will be investigation officer.

SC pulls up Mumbai police

Supreme Court on Wednesday pulled up Mumbai authorities for quarantining IPS officer from Patna, Bihar and said that it did t send a good mess as all eyes were on case. Justice Roy asked officials to ensure everything was done in a professional manner. 

Mumbai Police has faced unprecedented heat over its probe in mysterious death case which had furred demand for a CBI probe. Probe by an independent investigation ncy had been demanded by several politicians and Bollywood personalities claiming several irregularities. While Mumbai Police continues its inquest investigation, SC has directed Maharashtra government to place all records in case before it by Saturday.
