Telangana government will file a review petition in Supreme Court challenging its dismissal of state’s order reserving all posts of teachers in ncy areas for local tribes, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said on Tuesday, June 9. officials have been instructed to file a review petition in Supreme Court immediately in this regard.

"Government Whip Rega Kantha Rao and MLA Athram Sakku met Rao at Pragathi Bhavan here on Tuesday and submitted a memorandum stating that SC's verdict would do a lot of injustice to local tribes and urged government to w a legal battle," Chief Minister's Office said.

Government h issued an order reserving cent percent of teachers’ jobs for locals in tribal areas, ted in Fifth Schedule of Constitution. Some people approached apex court in this regard, leing to  Supreme Court's dismissal of Order.

TRS MLAs informed Chief Minister that SC verdict would be unjust to local tribes. As per Order, tribals residing in reserved areas prior to January 26, 1950, would get jobs.
