Terrorists lob grenade at Sopore bus stand, 19 people injured

At least Nineteen people were injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore after a grenade was lobbed by terrorists in a busy market area on Monday evening- 6 critical

At least Nineteen people were injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore after a grene was lobbed by terrorists in a busy market area on Monday evening. Six civilians are in a critical condition and have been shifted to Srinagar while ors with mir injuries have been shifted to district hospital in Sopore.

Terrorists lob grene in Sopore

 “#Terrorists lobbed a #grene on #civilians at #BusStand #Sopore. 6 #civilians sustained #injuries. Information is preliminary in nature. @JmuKmrPolice” Kashmir Police tweeted. attack took place near J&K Bank New Colony Bank, which is a few meters away from Sopore Bus Stand. Incidentally, incident took place a day before scheduled visit of 27 members European delegation to Kashmir. attack comes despite tight security in Jammu and Kashmir since centre revoked Article 370 and 35A on August 5. 

After Government’s decision to restore mobile calling services in Kashmir in view of rmalcy returning to valley, terrorists have resorted to targeting civilians in Kashmir. Multiple grene attacks have taken place in Kashmir and terrorists have also shot de three n-local apple trers in South Kashmir.

Previous grene attacks

On October 5, 14 people including a traffic Police jawan were injured in a grene attack by terrorists outside Deputy Commissioner's office in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. While 7 civilians were injured in ar grande attack on October 12 in heart of Srinagar city.

In past 15 days, terrorists have killed four n-locals, three out of whom were apple trers. In a bid to cripple ecomy of Kashmir as apple tre is mainstay of Kashmir's ecomy, terrorists have resorted to killing on apple trers. More than 20 lakh people are directly or indirectly linked with apple tre in Kashmir. After abrogation of Article 35A and 370, terrorists have targeted fruit tre in valley by setting several orchids on fire.

t only within valley but also along Line of Control, Pakistan and its backed terrorists are trying hard to sneak into Indian territory. Since abrogation of Article 370, re has t been a single day when re has been ceasefire violation from Pakistan side.
