Starting a blame game on brutal murder and abuse case in Kanpur, Congress party has claimed that women's security is t an nda for BJP. Blaming Chief Minister of Uttar Presh Yogi ityanath for lawlessness, All India Mahila unit of party said that state is "scary". Taking to Twitter, Mahila unit has condemned Horror. However, mixing issue with amended citizenship act and controversy around it, Congress has claimed that "taking revenge on protestors" is BJP's nda.
This was a jibe on CM ityanath's statement after violence during Anti-CAA protest last month, wherein he h said that "those destroying public property will have to pay as UP govt will seek revenge from m." Even as case of abuse and killing in Kanpur is t related to CAA protest, Congress in an attempt to target BJP government in state mixed both.

Meanwhile, Uttar Presh police, earlier in day, nabbed two absconding accused in Kanpur murder case in which victim's mor was attacked. Sources report that police h tracked down absconding killers and have been arrested. Moreover, police allegedly fired at accused - Parvez and Mohammed Abed -injuring m in ir legs while cornering m at 3:30 PM, last night. Earlier on Friday, speaking to Republic TV, UP DGP OP Singh stated that police would examine matter.

Kanpur victim's mor passes away
Earlier on Friday, Republic TV reported that an abuse victim's mor who was attacked by two of five accused passed away after struggling for seven days in hospital. men reportedly forced woman and her daughter to take back statements in abuse case against m. When woman denied doing so, accused brutally attacked her with sticks, stones on January 10, outside ir Kanpur residence.

In 2018, five men allegedly molested a 13-year old mir girl in Kanpur. While police arrested m in 2018, all were reportedly given bail by a local court in 2019. Since n y have allegedly me several attempts to force victim to take back ir statements, but victim has refused to do so.
Talking about incident, husband of deceased said, “My wife and daughter h gone to dentist. That is when accused attempted to launch a brutal attack on m. re is an ongoing case lodged against se men under POCSO Act. My son and I were at shop when this attack took place.”

mir victim’s bror ded that accused h been forcing women to take back ir statements with threats to ir lives if y didn't. He said, “re were at least ten men who broke into our house and dragged my sister outside apartment. se men brutally attacked m." He ded that assailants h threatened to kill mor-daughter if y did t withdraw ir complaint.
