CRPF Jawans rescued 70-year-old moribund woman from a forest in Nuapara, Odisha, the team found her in the nearby forest and took her to a nearby hospital.

The Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) on Saturday posted a video on their Twitter handle of a 70-year-old lady being carried by the CRPF jawans in the jungle in Nuapara, Odisha. In the video, we can see a team of the 216 Battalion of the CRPF rescuing an old woman on the verge of death in a jungle in Odisha. 

CRPF to the rescue

According to the reports, the old women had been missing for the past two to three days after she had left her home after an argument with her family. The CRPF team found her in the nearby forest and as her health was seen deteriorating the CRPF team decided to help her. The Jawans then made a makeshift stretcher to carry the old women and took her to a nearby hospital.

CRPF destroys IED planted by Maoists

Earlier on Thursday, during a search, 174 and 150 battalion teams of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) prevented a major conspiracy of Naxalites on Jagargunda Road, Chhattisgarh. The CRPF team founded a 20 kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by the Maoists. The team destroyed the IED which resulted in the forming of a large crater. The CRPF tweeted on the matter and congratulated the teams for avoiding a planned attack.
