A video of incident is circulating on social media platforms, showing bodies of deceased victims—some lying on ro, while ors remain trapped in car.

As per video, hes of two victims were separated from ir bodies.
Tried To Win Race With BMW Car
It has been reported that group, traveling in ir Innova, attempted to race with a BMW after it overtook m. Furr reports indicate that y were heavily intoxicated at time of incident.

deceased students were identified as Kunal Kukreja (23), Atul Agrawal (24), Rishabh Jain (24), Navya Goel (23), Kamakshi (20), and Guneet (19). All of m were from Uttarakhand's Dehrun except Kukreja who hails from Himachal Presh .

‘Drink and Drive At Centre of Spotlight’
After incident, several social media users are urging youngsters not to drive vehicle under influence of alcohol.
“This is a heartbreaking reminder - Please don’t drive rashly or under any influence. It’s never worth risk. Value your life and ors on ro. Drive responsibly,” one user wrote.
“No matter who overtakes you on ro, Never overspeed,” anor wrote.
In India, a harrowing number of 3314 fatalities occurred in 2021 as a direct result of individuals getting behind wheel while under influence of alcohol.
Even after stringent rules being framed by government, drinking and driving cases have not reduced.
As per current rules, for first offense, offender could face a fine of up to Rs 10,000 and an imprisonment of up to six months. If offense is repeated within a year, fine can go up to Rs. 15,000 along with imprisonment of up to two years.
