Delhi Congress Launches 'Nyay Yatra' To Expose AAP Govt's Corruption Under Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi Congress , on Friday, kicked off month-long ‘Nyay Yatra’ with an aim to expose misrule and corruption of Aam Ami Party (AAP) government in Delhi under Arvind Kejriwal 's rule. ‘Nyay Yatra’ will held in four phases and pass through all 70 Assembly constituencies ahe of upcoming Delhi Assembly elections 2025. Delhi Presh Congress Committee (DPCC) President Devender Yav, along with Himachal Presh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu flagged off yatra. A Congress leer said, that during yatra, party leers will interact with people of Delhi and m about misrule and corruption of Kejriwal government for past 10 years. 

During yatra launch, DPCC president Devender Yav said that purpose of Yatra is to provide justice to people and tell public about lies and corruption of Kejriwal government, which put residents of Delhi in complete misery in 10 years of misrule. He said, “ Congress government, during its 15-year rule, h turned Delhi into a world class city, but Kejriwal government committed gross injustice to women, youth, students, old people, farmers, trers and every section of people, as Kejriwal’s focus was to take corruption to unprecedented high levels at expense of people, and liquor scam finally landed him, his deputy Manish Sisodia, Minister Satyender Jain and MP Sanjay Singh in jail. Besides this, nearly 30 AAP MLAs facing various criminal cases.”

“Congress workers will kck at doors of residents of every Assembly constituency and enlighten m about how Congress was determined to bring back stalled development and prosperity to people without putting m under a smokescreen of lies and falsehood," Yav stated. 

He said that Kejriwal did thing to dress air and water pollution, rising crimes against women, totally disturbed law and order situation, unemployment, price rise, broken ros etc. without even a semblance of governance in place to solve such problems.

dressing party workers, Himachal CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that truth was core of Congress ideology, and ‘Nyay Yatra’ will assure people of getting m justice in all spheres. Quoting example of Himachal Presh, Sukhu said that Congress government in Himachal delivered on all its election promises to prove that Congress party does t indulge in empty rhetoric.

Former DPCC president and MP Ajay Maken said that Kejriwal, who came to limelight by sporting a two-rupee pen, wearing hawai chappals, professing honesty and integrity, promising implementation of Lokpal Bill, buried his ideology under carpet after tasting fruits of power, and ended up living in a Rs. 75 crore worth ‘Sheesh Mahal’, committing liquor scam which sent him to jail. 

Hitting out at AAP government, Maken said that severe air pollution was creating havoc with health of people, which was consequence of totally dilapidated public transport system, as Kejriwal government could t bolster DTC fleet, r could create a new bus depot, as all infrastructure in national capital was built by Congress government. He also slammed Delhi government over death of three Civil Services students, who died during monsoon flooding, at a constituency represented by an AAP MLA.
