Delhi recorded its coldest night this season at 15.3°C, with dense fog reducing visibility to 300m. IMD forecasts similar conditions for Sunday.

New Delhi: Delhi recorded its lowest temperature of season on Saturday as minimum dropped to 15.3 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported. This marks coldest night so far this autumn, with Friday recording second-lowest at 15.6 degrees Celsius.
Fog and Cold Winds Envelop Capital
As night temperatures dipped, fog blanketed city, reducing visibility to 300 metres at Safdarjung at 8:30 am. Accompanied by cold winds in morning and evening, chill in air was palpable. Humidity levels fluctuated between 94% and 79% throughout day.

maximum temperature on Saturday stood at 29.6 degrees Celsius, marginally above seasonal average by 1.1 degrees.
Smog and Dense Fog Forecast
IMD has predicted a similar wear pattern for Sunday, with dense fog likely during morning and evening hours. maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 29 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius, respectively.
