Hundreds of police personnel protested on Tuesday
Hundreds of police personnel gared outside police hequarters on Tuesday to protest assault on policemen following a clash with lawyers. Several policemen holding placards that re "We are human in police uniforms" and "Protectors Need Protection" were outside police hequarters at ITO and urged ir seniors to stand with m to save hour of uniform. An on-duty policeman was thrashed by vocates outside Saket Court on Monday. In a video of purported incident, lawyers were seen beating up policeman who was riding a bike. One of lawyers was also seen slapping policeman. When policeman was leaving spot, lawyer also hit his bike with his helmet.

Boost morale
Retired officers of Delhi Police have written a letter to Lt Goverr Anil Baijal and its chief Amulya Patnaik, saying steps should be taken to boost morale of force after recent stand-off with lawyers. Delhi Police Retired Gazetted Officers Association (DPRGOA) in a statement issued on Wednesday said it is "deeply concerned" about incidents of violent clashes between lawyers and police personnel in district courts of Delhi.

On vember 3, Delhi High Court ordered a judicial inquiry by a retired High Court judge into clashes between police and lawyers outside Tis Hazari court. inquiry will be completed within 6 weeks. Meanwhile, Republic accessed a shocking video on Monday in which a lawyer can be seen assaulting a policeman outside main gate of Saket court in Delhi. cop does t respond and simply drives away from spot.
