Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Partial Opening on Nov 12: Maharani Bagh to Sohna in Just 25 Minutes Soon

New Delhi: In a mega boost to travel infrastructure, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be partially opened for vehicular traffic on vember 12, 2025. opening of much-awaited ro project will significantly decongest traffic in NCR region and make travel experience smoor for commuters. 

tably, only Delhi stretch of expressway will be opened. With partial inauguration of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, commuters will be able to travel from South East Delhi's Maharani Bagh to Sohna in Gurugram in just 25 minutes, reducing travel from 2.5 hours.

According to South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, six-lane highway and two bridges — one over Agra Canal and or over Gurgaon Canal — were rey to function. With opening of this highway and bridges, traffic congestion on Mathura Ro will reduce significantly.

Built at a cost of Rs 5,500 crore, this ro can be used to go towards Faridab, Palwal, and Sohna.

When Will Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Project Complete?

deline for completion of entire expressway has been set to October 2025.  Once fully functional, expressway will reduce travel time from Delhi to Mumbai to just 12 hours. eight-lane greenfield expressway spanning a total length of 1,386 km, aims to link multiple ecomic centres across five states: Haryana , Rajasthan , Mhya Presh , Gujarat , and Maharashtra .
