Police Inspector, Constable Attacked For Stopping Bullet Bike With Noisy Silencer In Jamia Nagar
The Jamia Nagar SHO and a constable were allegedly attacked by a father-son duo for stopping their bullet bike with a noisy silencer in Delhi's Batla House.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, Jamia Nagar police station Station House Officer (SHO) and a police constable were allegedly attacked by a motorcycle rider and his far while enforcing traffic rules in Delhi's Batla House area. During incident, Inspector Narpal Singh, SHO of Jamia Nagar police station, and Constable Ramkesh were attacked by both far-son duo causing m some injuries.
According to a police official of Souast Delhi district, incident occurred at around 8.45 pm when Inspector Narpal Singh and his team were patrolling in area. During patrolling, police team signalled a bullet motorcycle to stop for inspection after spotting that motorcycle's silencer h been illegally modified, causing excessive ise. When police asked rider, identified as Asif (24), to produce his documents, he called his far on spot. When Asif's far, identified as Riyazuddin, arrived re, he tried to intimidate police into letting him go.

It is alleged that when police refused to let go of motorcycle, Riyazuddin and Asif allegedly caught hold of SHO and constable and assaulted m. During attack, Inspector Narpal Singh sustained serious injury under his eye, following which y were shifted to Holy Family Hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered against Asif and his far for obstructing public servants and causing physical harm. Both accused are in police custody, and investigation is ongoing.
