India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert on Sunday for National Capital due to deteriorating air quality. maximum temperature today is expected to reach 29 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperature is likely to drop to 15 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, Delhi Traffic Police issued around 550 challans for violations of ban on BS III petrol and BS IV diesel vehicles, under third stage of Gred Response Action Plan (GRAP).
police also took action against vehicles without valid Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCC), issuing fines to 4,855 offenders. This crackdown resulted in fines amounting to ₹4.85 crore on same day. Motorists found without a valid PUCC face a fine of ₹10,000, with challans being processed through courts.
