Delhi Shocker: Autorickshaw Driver Killed After Being Hit by Police Constable's Car in Kalyanpuri

New Delhi: An autorickshaw driver was killed in a he-on collision with a car driven by a Delhi Police constable in east Delhi's Kalyanpuri area, police reported on Friday. tragic incident occurred on Thursday night when vehicles h a he-on collision near Trilokpuri ro.

Police stated that autorickshaw driver, identified as Harsh, 24, suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. 

constable, Varun Yav, was present at scene of accident and was on his way to respond to a case within his jurisdiction at Mayur Vihar police station.

Authorities suspected that collision happened because autorickshaw was traveling from wrong side of ro, although investigations were ongoing to confirm this detail.

Following incident, a police team arrived at location and found both vehicles severely damaged.

Yav was taken into police custody for questioning and underwent a medical examination, which revealed he was not under influence of alcohol at time of crash. 

A case against him was registered under relevant legal provisions, and furr investigations continued.

In aftermath of accident, police officials stated that body of autorickshaw driver was released to his family after a post-mortem examination on Friday.
