Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Committee vows to aid poor until they get back on their feet
The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) on Sunday pledged to feed the needy until they get back on their feet.

Even as lockdown restrictions imposed amid COVID-19 scare will be heavily relaxed from tomorrow, Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Manment Committee (DSGMC) on Sunday pledged to feed needy until y get back on ir feet.
DSGMC took this vow as several NGOs and institutions which were providing food to needy amid lockdown have decided to withdraw ir services.

Coming to rescue of poor, Gurudwara committee anunced that it will continue to serve needy even after lockdown, as y believe that people who were left in lurch during lockdown will take time to get back on ir feet.
According to Manjinder Singh Sirsa, DSGMC president, gurudwara committee will take steps forward to take responsibility and fill vacuum caused by ir withdrawal.

y will be starting Langar on Wheels movement by flagging-off 15 vehicles from Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib tomorrow 10 AM.
"w we have stopped receiving food from various NGOs as unlock phase one has begun. We are w receiving messs from various organisations that y will w stop providing foods to us. Moreover, re were many organisations who were collecting food from us have and w y have said that y don't need our services anymore. However, we have decided to continue to serve people. We have deployed 15 vehicles from tomorrow onwards and se vehicles will be used to ensure that one sleeps empty stomach in Delhi," Sirsa told Republic TV.
According to Sirsa, Sikh organisation is committed to ensure that one sleeps empty stomach in Delhi.

DSGMC, ever since phase-1 of lockdown put in place to combat COVID-19, has been catering to poor across national capital.
From providing food to needy to helping m acquire essential items to fight corona, Sikh organisation has been on ir toes in se difficult times. In se past two months, y have also aided migrant workers who were left in lurch amid lockdown.

COVID cases in national capital are about to reach 20,000 mark. So far 19,844 cases have been reported. death toll in Delhi stands at 473.
