Delhi violence: Nikkhil Advani seeks 'shutdown mode'; Hansal Mehta unhappy with Kejriwal
As violence continued in Delhi, Nikkhil Advani urged 'shutdown mode' in Delhi, while Hansal Mehta expressed his disappointment with with CM Arind Kejriwal.

As situation in Delhi went out of control in clashes between groups over Citizenship Amendment Act, even celebrities of film industry reacted with concern. Many of m also brought Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal into picture, urging him to intervene or expressing ir disappointment against his party. Nikkhil Advani and Hansal Mehta were among those who reacted to violence that has spiralled to second day.

Nikkhil Advani wrote to CM Arvind Kejriwal on Twitter and reminded him of ‘huge mandate’ given to Aam Aadmi Party, referring to ir 62-win victory in recent elections. Meanwhile, CM Kejriwal met Home Minister Amit Shah, Lt Goverr Anil Baijal, Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik, Congress leader Subhash Chopra, BJP leaders Maj Tiwari & Rambir Singh Bidhuri and ors in a meeting to address situation.
At same time, Hansal Mehta was disappointed with CM Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. National Award-filmmaker sarcastically asked if he had a ‘good night’s sleep.’ while reminding him that he ’won Delhi.’

Shahid filmmaker also termed Kejriwal as ‘spineless’ after a netizen's post attacking PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Mehta also stated that he igred 'many things' about AAP because he saw hope in 'larger scheme of things'. However, he was unhappy to see that party that 'succumbed to same system y sought to uproot.'

Mehta also questioned if being 'mute spectators' was right amid violence by ‘madmen and bigots. ‘ He asked if people should t be on streets protesting against this violence.
Violence continued in Maujpur area of rast Delhi on Tuesday. Two groups of men, armed with rods and sticks raised slogans and even set a motorcycle on fire, as per PTI. police are also trying to bring situation under control amid stone-pelting.
A police constable was among seven people who were killed in clashes, amid numerous injuries.
