Delhi: Woman kills husband, tells police it was suicide

A 30-year-old woman, along with her accomplices, allegedly killed her husband and tried to misle investigators by saying man h committed suicide, police said on Thursday. woman and her husband h a 20-year difference and couple did t have any child, y said. Police said woman was t happy with her marri and hatched a plan, with one Veeru Burma and Karan, to kill her husband.

She allegedly h an extra-marital affair with Burma and wanted to marry him, while Karan was staying with woman and her husband in ir house in Budh Vihar area, police said. woman's husband worked here in Mayapuri Industrial area, y said. woman allegedly strangulated her husband with help of Karan after giving victim sleeping pills.

y later rushed man to hospital and told doctors he h committed suicide. However, doctors alerted police. On reaching woman's house, police did t find any evidence pointing towards suicide and statements of Karan and woman were also different, a senior official said. Investigation revealed that woman wanted to marry Burma and get property of her husband.
