Delhi: Woman Travelling With Her Newborn Killed in Tragic Accident Near BSF Camp in Tigri

New Delhi: A fatal accident occurred in South Delhi, in early hours of Sunday near BSF Camp on MB Ro in Tigri, leing to death of a 23-year-old woman. deceased, a resident of I-Block, Sangam Vihar, was travelling with her husband and ir 21-day-old newborn baby in an autorickshaw to Safdarjung Hospital. After incident, victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where she was declared de. 

A case has been registered by police in matter and furr legal action is being taken. 

According to police, incident occurred, when autorickshaw driver lost control and overturned vehicle on MB Ro in Tigri.

As per police, husband, who was eyewitness, rushed his wife to hospital, where she was declared de. After accident, autorickshaw driver fled scene, and eyewitness was unable to note down vehicle's details or driver's identity.

On statement recorded by deceased's husband, police have registered a case under relevant sections and have launched a manhunt to nab accused auto driver. 

body of deceased has been shifted to AIIMS mortuary for post-mortem.
