Delhi Women To Get Rs 1,000 In Their Bank Accounts Soon: AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal announced on Monday that he was making arrangements to soon provide Rs 1,000 as a monthly honorarium to women in Delhi.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal anunced on Monday that he was making arrangements to soon provide Rs 1,000 as a monthly horarium to women in Delhi.

In its 2024-25 budget, Delhi government anunced Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, which will provide Rs 1,000 per month to all women over of 18.

“I am doing that work very soon in which Rs 1,000 will be deposited in your bank accounts,” Kejriwal said.

" BJP opposes free electricity, water, education and healthcare, claiming that I am wasting money; but I am spending it on people, t stealing it like BJP," Kejriwal said.

Launching a scathing attack at Lieutenant Goverr VK Saxena, AAP supremo said, " lieutenant goverr was running government in city for six months when I was in jail. Why did he t run government in such a way that people would have said that y wanted lieutenant goverr and t Kejriwal?"

"y did thing except halt ongoing good projects but w, I am back --road construction, sewer cleaning, and garb removal are resuming at full speed," he added.

Urging people t to vote for BJP in upcoming Assembly elections, he reiterated his claim that saffron party would stop all free facilities AAP government has been providing for 10 years.

" BJP champions its 'double-engine governments', but look at UP and Bihar --y have only brought mismanment and if you mistakenly vote for BJP, Delhi will become like UP or Bihar, with long power cuts and bills worth thousands of rupees," Kejriwal claimed.

AAP leaders are undertaking 'padyatras (foot marches)' in various assembly segments in run-up to polls, due in February next year.
