Development push in education sector of Ladakh by MP Jamyang Tsering

With increasing concerns over education, office of Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering has begun a pilot project on the education system in four Government schools of Leh

After abrogation of article 370, government of India has launched many projects for development of Leh and Lakh with education sector being prime focus. As far as improving education sector is concerned in Leh and Lakh,  office of Lakh MP Jamyang Tsering has begun a pilot project on education system in Lakh in four Government schools of Leh.

As per information, schools in Leh are connected through internet from a centre New Delhi's Jasola. professionals and experienced teachers connect live with students of se four schools simultaneously every day and prepare m for ir upcoming board exams which will begin later in month.

Green Governance initiative and Edukiran

Office of MP of Lakh has roped in two organisations, Green Governance initiative and Edukiran to do this job. While speaking to Republic, one of organisers of this project Saeed Azam Hussain said,

"We started this pilot project on 2nd of September in which since beginning we targetted four schools of Leh and it's joining areas. variation of number of students in this project is really high. In this project, trained faculties get connected with students sitting in ir classes in Leh via internet and take ir classes of different subjects."

"Students have shown a keen interest in this, initially students were quite skeptical but w y are really interested as y are getting a lot of exposure. We have ticed a significant improvement in students. t even a single student miss our classes, today we also feel satisfied that we launched a pilot project and students responded positively," ded Saeed Azam Hussain.

se teachers have experience of almost a dece. A school portal has also been created where assignments, test series and lectures for students are posted.

BJP lauds initiative

While reacting on this initiative, BJP said it's one of most welcoming initiative taken by Lakh MP.

"This is one of most welcome steps, when a Member of Parliament is himself taking such an initiative where he is asking people of or states to help children of his constituency. This is in betterment of Lakhi's, this will help students to make better citizens and make m qualified to compete with ors. Before abrogation of article 370, one would go to state government for doing this and it was on state government wear y would give consent for this or t and w when it's union territory, MP is taking decisions," said BJP leer RP Singh.
